Jamaqua Emergency Relief – Litchfield District
In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, the Litchfield District in Jamaica has been severely impacted. Seven communities — with an estimated population of 3,700 residents, including five schools — are now facing critical disruptions in access to clean water, electricity, and communication.
To address these urgent needs, Jamaqua is temporarily refocusing its operations toward immediate humanitarian relief. Our goal is to establish a Community Resilience and Recovery Centre that will serve as a central hub for emergency support, providing: Filtered Drinking Water port. Mobil hot-spot (Star Link WI-FI access) Charging station (cellphones and other emergency battery operated homes equipment) Donated food and goods distribution Centre.
Our founder Valentino Blake interviewed by Swedish media about Hurricane Melissa and the water crisis.

Your support makes a real difference. Every donation — whether equipment, supplies, or food — helps restore clean water, power, and communication for families in Litchfield.
As the Jamaican proverb says, “Every little mickle makes a muckle” — every contribution counts.
If you or your community would like to donate equipment or send a barrel of food or essential goods, please contact us at [insert email/contact info].
Together, we can help Litchfield recover and rebuild stronger than before.
Jamaqua is establishing a Community Relief Centre to restore access to clean water, renewable energy, and connectivity, helping residents recover and rebuild.
